COMPANY HISTORY

Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy was established in 1988 by brothers Charles, Mark, and Jeff Williams. The brothers wanted to revive and expand upon the original pharmacy business begun by their great-grandfather, Charles C. Williams, in 1899 and continued through grandfather, Joe, and father, Paul. The brothers initially began a retail pharmacy and home medical equipment company in 1988. In 1990 they expanded to provide home infusion, and then in 1995, a long term care pharmacy division was added to the complete the company health care services.

The foundation of the original Williams Pharmacy was built on superior customer service. We are committed to hold this as a core value in operating our business. Since the pharmacy opening, Williams Bros. has been and will remain an independent pharmacy. All of us at Williams Bros. feel it is important to retain the small business advantages for the benefit of our patients and customers. We offer free prescription delivery as well as complete insurance billing and patient counseling at all locations. The company is proud of its continual community involvement and has a long-standing tradition of service within each of the communities it serves.

The vision of Williams Bros. has been to provide superior health care products and service throughout the central and southern part of Indiana. For that reason the corporation purchased pharmacies in Paoli (1997), Princeton (1998), and built a new store in Bloomington (2002). Our staff of health care professionals currently includes pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, home medical equipment personnel, certified fitters, billing personnel, long term care medical records staff, and supporting office personnel. More than 200 employees share our mission and vision to help us achieve our goals. We are all committed to exceeding our customers' expectations.

In order to maintain that high level commitment to our customers, ownership supports the on-going education of its employees and is proud to be a member of the following organizations: Intravenous Nurses Society (INS), Indiana Health Care Association (IHCA), Indiana Pharmacists Association (IPA), American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP), American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), and the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). Our achievements have been recognized by receiving accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. (ACHC).

Williams Bros. has the resources to provide a total spectrum of patient care within the full cycle of services of pharmacy, home medical equipment, respiratory therapy, and infusion therapy.
